HKSA 540 (Revised) is a demanding auditing standard for a tricky audit procedure. At this workshop, the facilitator quotes practical cases to demonstrate how to comply with the standard with affordable cost and effort. 

The cases will cover :-

  1. Provision for depreciation;
  2. Impairment of assets;
  3. Expected credit loss;
  4. Cash flow forecast;

Workshop titled “AFS On-The-Fly Workshop” was held on 15 March 2021. At this 2-hour workshop, the facilitator talked about the automation of preparing audited financial statements. Every attendant was provided with a computer to experience preparing AFS with ExcelTB as the facilitator guide the attendants to prepare a full set of financial statements from scratch to the final product.
